The Principles of Eating Well during Pregnancy

Food is an important key to get a healthy pregnancy. A well eating habit not only keeps pregnant mother health but also keeps the unborn baby health. Remember! The development of the unborn baby depends on what you give to it. Changing Your Eating Habit

It is better to change your eating habit although you think that your eating habit is good enough. Remember! You are in your pregnancy period. If you want to do diet program, you should take a diet program for pregnant mother. In pregnancy period, it is a must to eat foods contain of protein, calories (for energy), vitamin, and mineral such as folate acid and iron. Those compounds are very important for the development of your baby. Just take a note that you need extra 300 calories per day during pregnancy.  

Avoiding Harmful Foods

Don’t take diet program during pregnancy 

You have to realize that this is not the right time to take diet program. In fact, doing diet leads you and your baby in dangerous condition. For example, you will be lack of vitamin and mineral which are very important during pregnancy. The weight gain during pregnancy is a good sign for your pregnancy. Pregnant mother with a good eating habit will gain more weight. Moreover, you will deliver a healthy baby. 

Eating in small portion frequently 

In first trimester, you will be suffered from nausea problem. One of the solutions is by eating in small portion frequently. Just avoid spicy and oily foods. It is better to eat every 4 hours in small portion. Moreover, it is a must for you to eat every 4 hours although you don’t feel hungry. This is because your baby still needs the food regularly.
